A major road in Crewe is set for to close for energy works, expected to take 20 days.

Groby Road, between Remer Street and Stoneley Road, will close on Monday 10 August.

The Crewe East road is planned to reopen on Sunday 30 August, once Scottish Power Energy works are complete.

This 20-day closure allows a new service connection to be installed on Groby Road.

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained where possible.

Pedestrian access will be available at all times, with cyclists required to dismount.
