Major Crewe road closes for five-day gully jetting works

Stewart Street, from the junction of Clyde Grove, to the junction of Gainsborough Road, is closed from 9.30am to 2.30pm until Friday 2 May (Google).

A major road in Crewe is closed for five days, allowing highway improvement works to take place.

Stewart Street, from the junction of Clyde Grove, to the junction of Gainsborough Road, will close at 9.30am on Monday 28 April.

The Crewe West road will be closed between 9.30am and 2.30pm until Friday 2 May.

Cheshire East Highways will be carrying out gully jetting works across this period.

Cheshire East Highways will be carrying out gully jetting works on Stewart Street across five days (Google).

The alternative route will be via: Victoria Avenue, Queens Park Drive, West Street, Coppenhall Lane, Coppenhall Lane Roundabout, Middlewich Road, Colleys Lane, Crewe Road, Church Lane and Valley Road.

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times.

Cyclists will be required to dismount in order for access to be maintained. Vehicular access for emergency vehicles and residents will be given where possible.
