A location has now been confirmed for where a major UK retailer will be opening in Crewe town centre, expected in the near future.

Bodycare will be launching inside the former Clintons, Market Shopping Centre, within the new year.

The UK chain sells big brand products at discounted prices in fragrances, cosmetics, skincare, haircare and toiletries, for men and women.

It also sells a number of household, health and wellbeing, holiday and electrical items.

Bodycare, which was first established in 1970 on a Lancashire market stall by Graham and Margaret Blackledge, now has over 100 UK stores.

Confirming its new Crewe location, a Bodycare spokesperson told Nub News: "We will be opening inside the old Clinton card shop in The Market Shopping Centre.

Currently, Bodycare's nearest store to Crewe is in Newcastle-under-Lyme, 15 miles away (Ryan Parker).

"We have not yet been told when it will be opening, but have been asked to start interviewing after next week.

"We will be contacting people who have applied on Indeed from the week commencing December 4.

"We are expecting the store to open in the new year but have no details as yet."

Currently, Bodycare's nearest store to Crewe is in Newcastle-under-Lyme, 15 miles away.

The fragrances chain also has locations in nearby Stoke-on-Trent, Macclesfield, Chester and Warrington.

Bodycare sells products made by the likes of Calvin Klein, Elizabeth Arden, Hugo Boss, Jimmy Choo, L'Oreal and Nivea.
