A Crewe resident is appealing for help from members of the public after they were involved in a road traffic collision - on a busy roundabout near the town.

The incident happened at approximately 9:40am last Wednesday (August 24) - on The Peacock Roundabout, Willaston.

Leighton Hospital worker, Louise Renshaw, was driving a white Hyundai towards Nantwich when her vehicle was involved in a collision with a white Vauxhall Mocha.

Louise Renshaw was part way over the second exit towards Nantwich when the white Vauxhall Mocha drove into her driver's side (Google).

Today (August 31), Mrs Renshaw told Nub News the white Mocha drove into her.

She said: "I was driving to Nantwich from Crewe. The car that hit me came from A51.

"I drove forward, when nothing was coming, was part way over the second exit of the roundabout, when the Mocha hit my drivers side.

"It pushed me into the Nantwich Bypass (second exit) where we both came to a stop."

The white Vauxhall Mocha joined The Peacock Roundabout from the A51 and collided with Louise Renshaw's white Hyundai on it (Google).

Yesterday the Crewe resident appealed for information on social media, saying: "I'm wondering (hoping) if anyone had caught this on dash cam at all or saw it?

"Unfortunately it was a very busy time but no one stopped, I'd be grateful for any help."

Cheshire Constabulary confirmed the incident to Crewe Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "At 9.40am on Wednesday (August 24), police were called to a collision on Peacock roundabout A500 in Willaston involving a white Hyundai and a white Vauxhall Mocha.

Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News and confirmed there were no injuries (Cheshire Constabulary).

"There were no reports of any injuries and ambulance did not attend."
