Local motorists warned to allow extra time while bypasses temporarily closed

Motorists driving from Crewe to Sandbach and Sandbach to Crewe face diversions, due to gulley cleaning and essential maintenance on the Haslington and Wheelock bypasses.

Wheelock bypass from the Wheelock Roundabout to the Waitrose Roundabout closed from 9.30am on Monday 3 November until 3 pm, while gulley cleaning and essential maintenance is carried out.

On Tuesday 4 November, the work will rivert to the Haslington side of the bypass with the road again closed from 9.30am until 3pm (Photo: Nub News).

Diversions are in place and journeys will take longer so motorists are being urged to allow extra time.
