Local man charged with rape and assault following reports of incident

A 20-year-old local man has been arrested and charged, following reports of an incident in Middlewich.
Cheshire Police say they were called an address in Longcross Court at 4pm on Saturday 15 November.
Tyler Proudman has since been charged with one count of rape and one count of assault.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 18 December.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Officers attended and a 20-year-old man was arrested.
"Tyler Proudman has since been charged with one count of rape and one count of assault.
"He appeared at Warrington Magistrates Court on 20 November where he was remanded.
"He is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 18 December 2025."
