Local man charged after being seen drinking alcohol in Crewe vehicle
A local man has been charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle after being seen boozing in a vehicle, while over three times the legal limit in Crewe.
On Sunday 25 February, Cheshire Police received reports of a man sat in a vehicle drinking alcohol, off Nantwich Road.
Officers were also notified the man was starting up the vehicle, playing loud music and beeping the horn.
At around 5pm, police arrived at the scene, ordering the male to provide a breath sample for analysis.
The man was arrested for drink driving, providing a sample of 119 in police custody, well over three times the legal limit,
Krzysztof Wcislo, 41, from Crewe, has since been charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.
He is due to appear in court on Tuesday 12 March.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "On Sunday 25 February, at around 5pm, we received reports of a male sat in a vehicle drinking alcohol.
"He was starting up the vehicle, playing loud music and beeping the horn.
"Crewe Response Team located the vehicle and the male occupant failed to provide a sample of breath for analysis.
"Krzysztof Wcislo, 41, from Crewe, has been charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.
"He provided an evidential breath sample of 119 in police custody. He is due to appear in court on Tuesday 12 March."
