Local fitness charity, Everybody Health & Leisure has announced further investment in Crewe, with the acquisition of a third leisure facility in the town.

Everybody has signed a contract to take over operations of Simply Gym, West Street, bringing it on board as part of their estate as Everybody @ Crewe West.

This site joins Everybody's facilities at Crewe Lifestyle Centre, Moss Square, and Cumberland Arena, Thomas Street.

Everybody Health & Leisure now operates three Crewe leisure facilities, located on Moss Square, Cumberland Arena, Thomas Street and West Street (Supplied).

CEO of Everybody Health & Leisure, Thomas Barton, told Nub News: "We are happy to say we are holding prices for members, with good value, and a good fitness provision at the site complementing broader health services for the local community.

"We are looking forward to welcoming staff from the existing site at Crewe West, as well as existing and new members.

"We are committed to investing in and protecting the long term future of leisure and sport in Cheshire East."

Following the recent Strategic Leisure Review, Everybody identified the need to invest in two particular areas of Crewe and Macclesfield.

In 2024, Everybody took on operation of Park Life Café in Crewe's Queens Park, rebranding it Taste For Life Café (Ryan Parker).

The charity has invested in Macclesfield earlier this year, opening brand new facility, Everybody @ Macclesfield Central, as well as a newly designed and equipped gym at Macclesfield Leisure Centre.

Part of the existing arena building will be demolished, with a new two-storey extension built to provide a reception area.
