BREAKING: All Crewe wards have been declared as of 7:09pm.

The election count commenced at Crewe Lifestyle Centre, Forge Street, at 2pm on Friday 5 May.

There has been a huge shock with Conservatives gaining Crewe St Barnabas ward.

Leighton and Shavington have turned red - with Wistaston gaining one Labour councillor.

The election count commenced at Crewe Lifestyle Centre, Forge Street, at 2pm on Friday 5 May (Ryan Parker).

Crewe North Ward - Result - Labour Hold

  • Joy Bratherton - Labour Party (483) - Elected
  • Daniel Hayden Hill - Local Conservative (116)
  • Brian George Silvester - Putting Crewe First, Independent Residents Group (334)

Turnout: 26.14%

Joy Bratherton, Labour, recieved 483 votes for Crewe North (Cheshire East Council).

Crewe St Barnabas Ward - Conservative Gain

  • Sally Handley - Labour Party - (266)
  • James Lewis Pratt - Conservative Party - (348) - Elected
  • Geoff Palin - Putting Crewe First, Independent Residents Group - (89)

Turnout: 20.07%

James Pratt, Conservative, received 348 votes for Crewe St Barnabas (Nub News).

Turnout: 17.35%
Anthony Critchley, Labour, recieved 448 votes (Cheshire East Council).

Willaston & Rope was the ward with the highest turnout - standing at 41.1%.

Crewe Central had the lowest turnout with 17.35%.
