VOLUNTEERS are being sought for a weekend litter picking drive in Shavington.

The Clean Team is out in the village on Saturday (May 15) and they are looking for recruits.

They want people committed to keeping Shavington tidy and will be meeting at the village hall at 10am.

If you want to find out more about the work then contract Rene Hancock on 01270 661592 or email [email protected].

Organisers stress this is a socially-distanced litter exercise and everyone's safety is paramount.

They also remind people to wear strong shoes and bring gloves if possible.
