The Crewe and Nantwich Labour Party has officially opened a dedicated campaign office in Crewe town centre, located in an old adult gaming centre.
The new office, situated at 66A Market Street, will act as a hub for the party's drive to secure the election of Labour candidate Connor Naismith as the new MP for the Crewe and Nantwich constituency.
Located at the former site of Admiral Casino, which closed in 2020, the new Labour Party office will be open everyday from 10am to 2pm during the election campaign.
The office sits in a prime location, close to The Market Shopping Centre, Crewe Lyceum Theatre, The Grand Junction and Ly2.
It is also next door to the former William Hill betting shop, which closed this March.
Mr Naismith told Nub News: "One of my key election pledges is to promote the revival of our high streets and to re-energise the local economy.
"So, I am delighted to be able to demonstrate that commitment by announcing the opening our new campaign centre right in the centre of Crewe.
"Crewe has far too many empty shop units after 14 years of decline under this government.
"It is a small step, but it represents my determination to encourage the revitalisation of our town centre and to give Crewe residents a town they can be proud of."
