THE pandemic has had a big impact on the jobs market and these are difficult times for job seekers.

But there are still job opportunities available in the Crewe area which we have listed in the Crewe Nub News jobs section.

If you are a business that is hiring we'd be delighted to advertise your job opportunity on it too.

You can use our Nub It button at the top of this page to submit your vacancy details. There is a charge for this.

Every week, we will showcase a job opportunity in the Crewe area.

This week's opportunity will be of interest to the youthful end of the job market. Aldi are recruiting Store Management Apprentices in Crewe.

Applicants will need GCSEs in Maths and English, grade 4 and above (minimum grade C or equivalent) to secure a place on the three-year long apprenticeship scheme.

Aldi says: "One thing's for sure you'll never be bored. Balancing theory with practical store work, you'll be expected to work hard.

"There's a real family feel here and we all pitch in as part of a close-knit team. And since there's always loads of support from those around you, ranging from store managers to store assistants, you'll never feel like you're struggling."

It says successful applicants will work towards a Level 3 Retail Team Leader qualification and a future role as deputy store manager with real opportunities for progression.

Pay rates are between £6.34 and £9.44 per hour.

You can apply for the apprenticeship here.
