An investigation is currently "ongoing" after a fire ripped though a flat in the West End of Crewe, with no one thankfully hurt.
On Sunday 21 April, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on Walker Street, off Stapeley Street.
At 9:41pm, two fire engines from Crewe arrived at the scene, discovering a blaze had spread through the property.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the flames, with a high pressure fan clearing out the smoke.
The cause of the flat blaze is yet to be identified.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters in breathing apparatus put out a fire in a property, the cause of which has yet to be identified.
"A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire and a high pressure fan activated to clear smoke.
"An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing."
