Investigation after woman robbed of handbag in Crewe alleyway

Cheshire Police officers investigating a robbery in a Crewe alleyway are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
At 8.50am on Tuesday 9 December, police received reports of a robbery near to Coleridge Way, Crewe.
The incident occurred at 8.15am in an alleyway off Coleridge Way, leading towards Earle Street, in which a bag was stolen from a woman.
The bag is a beige Michael Kors shoulder bag which has small 'MK' logos covering the bag in a brown-coloured font. The bag also contained a Michael Kors purse.
The suspect is believed to be a man, of a stocky build, who was wearing a black balaclava and riding a dark-coloured pedal cycle.

Detective Constable, Lauren Audley, said: "We are currently conducting enquiries to trace the person responsible, and we would ask any witnesses or those with information to get in touch with us.
"The same goes for anyone with any relevant CCTV, dashcam or video doorbell footage, or anyone who sees the bag matching the description provided.
"Anyone with any information should contact 101, quoting incident number IML-2229824, or report through our website.
"Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
