Children aged 11-13 can take part in a free two-day interactive workshop at Crewe Lyceum on 23rd & 24th August, learning how to produce and plan their own events.

Crewe Lyceum Theatre are "thrilled" to be working with local partners as part of Bubble Up, an initiative run by North West Arts Council Bridge, Curious Minds.

Bubble Up Crewe is offering free creative and cultural activities to young people aged 11-13 in Crewe, open to those who missed out on the usual transition from primary school to secondary school, due to lockdown restrictions.

These activities are totally free and are an opportunity to make friends, build confidence and take part in activities in different venues around Crewe.

At the Crewe Lyceum, youngsters can become a young producer and plan their own event as part of this unique two-day workshop.

Choose how you will build your own event or project, work as a team to develop ideas and overcome obstacles to reach success.

Will you put on your own play, plan an exciting festival or create a fun activity for your community? You decide!

Find out what goes on behind the scenes to make shows and events happen and pitch your own ideas to professionals in the industry.

Learn about yourself, your skills, strengths and abilities, overcome adversity and develop your creative problem-solving abilities.

Our young producers workshop gives you an opportunity to work alongside Crewe Lyceum Theatre staff and will be the first activity to take place in our theatre since lockdown.

Spaces are limited but you can sign up via the Crewe Lyceum Theatre website.
