Four more arrests were made outside The Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light in Crewe on Sunday 31 May, following incidents of "disorder and disruption."

The incidents occurred in the thick of peaceful protests taking place outside Webb House that day.

Following the four arrests, Cheshire Police issued a dispersal order, making it an offence for anyone to return to the area for up to 48 hours.

Peaceful protests continue to take place at Webb House following the 500-plus officer raid at the address on April 29.

This came following allegations of serious sexual offences, forced marriage, and modern slavery, reported to have taken place in 2023.

Police say they became aware of the allegations in March this year and all the alleged offences involved one victim, a woman, who was a member of the group at the time the offences occurred.

12 religious group members have been arrested following the raids and have all been released on conditional bail. They are not allowed to enter Crewe.

Six of those arrested are subject to additional restrictions after police applied for slavery and trafficking risk orders, including leader, Abdullah Hashem.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News:"On Sunday 31 May, officers in Crewe were made aware of a peaceful protest occurring in the Victoria Avenue of the town.

"While many people were peacefully protesting , several incidents of disorder and disruption were reported over the course of the day.

"As a result, a dispersal order was imposed under Section 34 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, making it an offence for anyone to return to the area for up to 48 hours.

"A total of four arrests were made over the course of the day."
