Firefighters tackle Crewe shed blaze across two properties for over an hour

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service tackled a garden shed blaze across two Crewe properties - taking over an hour to put it out.

The incident on Rolls Avenue happened at 4:42pm on Tuesday (November 22).

One fire engine from Crewe and one from Nantwich arrived at the scene.

Firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the fire - taking over approximately 70 minutes (Google).

The South Cheshire firefighters arrived to find a garden shed on fire across two Crewe properties.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A garden shed across two properties was on fire.

"Firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out the fire.

"They then dampened down the area and cut away burnt wood.

One fire engine from Crewe and one from Nantwich arrived at the scene (Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service).

"A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor the temperature.

"The crews were at the scene for around one hour and ten minutes."
