Firefighters tackle two-vehicle blaze on Crewe restaurant car park

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service used breathing apparatus to tackle a two-car blaze, located on a Crewe restaurant car park.

On Friday 22 September, firefighters were called to an incident on the car park of Ego at The Fox, off Crewe Road, Haslington.

At around 6:51pm, one fire engine from Crewe arrived at the Mediterranean restaurant.

The car blaze happened on the car park of Mediterranean resturant, Ego at The Fox (Nub News).

The crew used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to put out the blaze.

No injuries were reported, with a Ford Ranger pick-up badly damaged in the incident.

A Cheshire fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to an incident involving two vehicles on fire in a car park off Crewe Road.

No injuries were reported, with a Ford Ranger pick-up badly damaged in the incident (Nub News).

"The crew used one set of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to put the fire out."
