An investigation into the cause of a serious Crewe takeaway fire has ended - according to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service quickly arrived at the scene - with two fire engines from Crewe and one from Nantwich.
Police from Cheshire Constabulary arrived to close off Nantwich Road - with neighbouring shops also evacuated.
The fire has now been put out, Nantwich Road has reopened and no casualties were reported.
At 11:55am, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service provided a final update - clarifying what caused the blaze.
A spokesperson said: "Firefighters continued to check the affected areas and there are no hotspots remaining within the affected or neighbouring properties.
"Following a fire investigation the cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental, caused by electrics.
"The crews have now handed the incident over and left the scene.
