Firefighters called to electric bike blaze at Crewe property

Fire crews were called to a Crewe property on Sunday evening (December 7), following an electric bike blaze.
At 8.34pm, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on West Street.
One fire engine from Crewe was called to the scene, with the fire happening in the garden.
By the time Crewe firefighters arrived the electric bike blaze was out.

The crew cooled the vehicle as a precaution with no injuries reported.
The electric bike sustained moderate damage with the incident not believed to be suspicious.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to an electric bike on fire in a garden.
"On arrival, the fire was out so the bike was cooled as a precaution."
