Firefighters tackled two serious house fires in Crewe on Valentine's Day, with everyone getting out of the properties safely.
On Saturday 14 February, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on Stalbridge Road at 6.59am.
Two fire engines from Crewe and one from Nantwich arrived at the scene, to discover a blaze on the first floor of a mid-terraced property.
The home's three occupants had already self-evacuated and were checked over by North West Ambulance Service paramedics.
Firefighters remained at the scene for over four and a half hours until 11.30am. No one sustained any serious injuries.
Just 41 minutes later, fire crews were called to a house blaze at a property on Rudheath Close, off Sunnybank Road.
This time, two fire engines from Crewe arrived at the scene, with the flames coming from the kitchen of a ground floor flat.
Everyone within the flat were accounted for, with one person treated by North West Ambulance Service paramedics. They are also expected to make a full recovery.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At 6.59am on Saturday 14 February, firefighters were called to a report of a house fire on Stalbridge Road.
"On arrival they were confronted with a welldeveloped fire affecting the first floor of a mid-terraced property.
"Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to put extinguish the fire. They then checked the roof space to ensure that the fire had not spread to neighbouring properties.
"Three occupants had self-evacuated from the property and were checked over by attending paramedics.
"All people believed to be in the property at the time were accounted for.
"Firefighters undertook final checks for hot spots and left the scene at 11.30am.
"Then at 12.11pm on Saturday 14 February, firefighters were called to a fire in the kitchen of a ground floor flat in Rudheath Close.
"Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the flat with a hose reel to extinguish the fire, supported by a safety jet and covering jet.
"A large fan was then used to clear smoke from the affected property. Crews also inspected other flats within the property to ensure no further spread of fire.
"Everyone within the building were accounted for, with one individual treated by attending paramedics."
