Local residents were in shock after a Ferrari lost control in the wet and crashed through a metal fence, close to Crewe Alexandra Football Club.

On Friday 3 May, Cheshire Police received reports of a collision on Gresty Road, at its junction with Davenport Avenue.

At 6:52pm, officers, arrived at the scene, discovering a black Ferrari had ploughed through a metal fence.

No arrests were made, with the black Ferrari sustaining serious front damage (Robert Wochna).

The driver of the luxury sports car suffered minor injuries in the incident, with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service ensuring the vehicle was safe.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: At 6.52pm on Friday 3 May, police were called to reports of a collision on Gresty Road.

"Officers attended and found a black Ferrari had collided with a metal fence.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries and no arrests were made."
