Favourite Halloween spooky family arrives at Crewe theatre this winter

A favourite spooky family arrives in Crewe town centre this Halloween - for a special production shown across four days.
After a hiatus of four years away, production company, Acton Amateur Operatic Society, is back at Crewe Lyceum Theatre.
They arrive from Wednesday (November 2) to Saturday (November 5) - delivering a production of popular musical comedy, The Addams Family,
The Addams Family has been written from writers of award-winning hit musical, Jersey Boys - with music and lyrics by the TONY award nominated Andrew Lippa.
This year's show is even more special for For Acton Operatic Society as it celebrate its centenary year.
The production is its most ambitious to date - showcasing both established and new, emerging talent from around the region.
The musical of The Addams Family is based on the cult film and TV series.
Crewe audiences will see all the well-known characters from the Addams family, including: Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Lurch and many more.
People can expect a hilarious mix of farce and dark comedy, with catchy, memorable musical numbers.
Acton Amateur Operatic Society told Nub News: "We are proud to be back in our 'spiritual' home of the Lyceum, the venue for so many successful and wide ranging productions over the years.
"It has provided entertainment to the wider community and, most importantly, encouraging and discovering new young talent.
"Many of whom may go on to pursue a professional career on stage, as many of our members have done in the past, with considerable success."
The matinee on Saturday (November 5) begins at 2.30pm.
