The team at United Carpets, Nantwich Road, has been boosted with a new arrival in the warehouse department, Connor Chesters.

Nineteen year-old Connor is the son of assistant manager, Gavin Chesters, joining the store at one of the busiest times of the year.

"The average age of the team has come down significantly," joked Eddie Davies, who has owned and managed the store since 2010.

The team at United Carpets, Nantwich Road, has been boosted with the arrival of 19-year-old Connor Chesters (Nub News).

Connor will be learning several aspects of the business.

He will also be trained in customer service, as well as spending some time out with the fitters.

Mr Davies said: "It's a good way of seeing the various threads of how everything comes together.

"From the stock being delivered, to the retail experience, then the flooring getting fitted in a customer's home."

Outside of work Connor enjoys gaming and music. He is putting aside some of his wages from his new job to buy a new guitar.
