THE family of a man from Crewe who died in a car crash in Middlewich have paid tribute to him.

Kieran Bailey, 26, who was living in Middlewich, was the driver of a black BMW which was involved in a collision with a white Nissan van on King Street on Sunday (January 24).

Sadly, Kieran passed away at the scene.

His family, who are being supported by specialist police officers, have issued the following tribute to him:

"Kieran was a popular young man and touched the lives of so many.

"He will be sadly missed by his partner Jack, mum Melanie, dad Tim his brother Colby, their families and his many friends, and work colleagues."

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, which took place at around 6.08am, or may have captured relevant dashcam footage.

Information and footage can be provided by calling 101 quoting IML 902218 or via the website
