By Gwyn Griffiths 20th Aug 2021

THERE'S plenty happening in Crewe this Saturday - just take a look at the Nub News What's On listings.

For those craving an art fix and some creativity then look no further than this weekend's Journeys Arts Trail, which runs across Saturday and Sunday in Crewe town centre.

Arts company SpareParts, who have hosted the TrAction Festival in recent years, return to Crewe with an interactive trail focused on Victoria Street, Market Square and Christchurch Gardens.

Commissioned by Crewe Town Council, the trail offers audiences the chance to experience three different installations and performances.

Along the trail will be an art fresco, The Great Story of the Infinite Drawing by Elly Oldman as well

Pandoras Boombox, which includes a live performance from DMPC.

Sit, Stop by Sally Hogarth will feature nine structures for people to sit on, pause and notice the nature and heritage around them. Learn more about the trail here.

Lover of antiques should head for Crewe Hall where David Dickinson is filming one of the latest episodes of the popular ITV hit show 'Dickinson's Real Deal'.

Doors are open from 8am to 5pm and it is free admission.

You could also dust down you loafers for a Northern Soul Night at the Coppenhall Club.

It is great to see so many venues putting their events on Crewe Nub News free of charge.
