A POPULAR Crewe Record Fair is set for a return in October.

John Beddows has been striking a chord for the vinyl revival with a series of fairs at Crewe Market Hall over the summer.

They have proved so successful that he has organised another fair for Sunday, October 10 at the revamped venue in Earle Street.

John, whose Backtrax Music business is a popular stall at Sandbach Market on Saturdays, recruited some of the area's prominent vinyl dealers for the event and says he wants to make it a regular bi-monthly fair.

Of the latest August event, he said: "I want to say thanks to everyone who came to Crewe Record Fair who along with our fantastic traders made it an awesome day.

"We had a fantastic turnout with non-stop customers from 9.30am until 4pm.

"Thanks too also to the social media admins for supporting the event and the Market Hall traders and management working together with us to make it a successful amazing event for Crewe."
