An established Crewe dental surgery business has been sold for the first time in 32 years, with property adviser, Christie & Co announcing the sale.

Established over 50 years ago, J Hibbert Dental Surgery is a two-surgery predominantly NHS dental practice integrated within Eagle Bridge Health Centre.

Previously of West Street, the business had been owned by Dr Jeremy Hibbert since 1992, who recently brought the practice to the market to pursue a well-earned retirement.

J Hibbert Dental Surgery relocated from West Street to Eagle Bridge Health Centre, in 2012 (Nub News).

Following a confidential sales process with Jonathan Watson at Christie & Co, the business has been purchased by three experienced operators, Rehan Alam, Nadeem Arif and Ovais Malik.

The trio had been looking to expand their portfolio of practices across the North West.

Dr Hibbert will stay on as an associate in the interim to offer a period of transition.

He told Nub News: "After moving into our new premises in 2012, I now feel it is time for someone else to carry the practice forwards to its next phase of growth.

"I wish the new owners well with the practice."

Director at Christie & Co, Jonathan Watson, said: "Having worked with Jeremy for some time, I was delighted we were able to overcome a number of hurdles to get the sale over the line.

"The interest generated was staggering, with multiple viewings and offers received, displaying the significant demand from independent buyers for NHS practices."
