Emergency services rush to car in flames and 'on its roof' in South Cheshire
Emergency services rushed to a car in flames and 'on its roof' - following a serious crash in South Cheshire.
The incident on Audlem Road, Hatherton, happened at around 7pm on Friday 17 March - with one vehicle involved.
Cheshire Police officers, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service firefighters and North West Ambulance Service paramedics quickly arrived at the scene.
Emergency services arrived to find a grey Audi on its roof and in flames.
Firefighters put out the car blaze while Cheshire Police officers closed the road.
The driver of the Audi was attended to by paramedics.
There were no injuries from the incident with no arrests made.
On Tuesday 21 March, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.
A spokesperson said: "At 7pm on Friday 17 March, police were called to a collision on Audlem Road, Hatherton.
"The collision involved one vehicle, a grey Audi, which had overturned.
"There were no injuries and no arrests were made."
Audlem Road was swiftly reopened after the area was cleared.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added: "Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving one vehicle.
"On arrival they found the car on its roof and it had been on fire. The crews damped down the car and gave first aid to one person.
"Police attended and closed the road while the incident was being dealt with and paramedics also attended."
