Emergency services respond to major incident in Crewe

Around 7.10pm, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service were called to Badger Avenue, close to its junction with Vernon Way (Ryan Parker).

Emergency services have responded to a major incident in Crewe this evening (March 21), with a pedestrian reportedly hit by a vehicle.

Around 7.10pm, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service were called to Badger Avenue, close to its junction with Vernon Way.

Officers taped off the road from traffic lights outside Oxley's Funeral Services.

A section of Vernon Way was also closed between West Street and Badger Avenue.

Cheshire Police taped off Badger Avenue from traffic lights outside Oxley's Funeral Services, with an air ambulance landing on The Brooklands (Ryan Parker).

An air ambulance landed on The Brooklands to pick up the casualty.

Police were at the scene until 12.30am with the roads reopened.
