Emergency services deployed to boy on roof of disused Crewe building

Emergency services were deployed to a teenage boy on the roof of a disused building in Crewe, managing to get him down safely.
On Monday 22 June, Cheshire Police, North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident on Queen Street.
At 8.30pm, response teams arrived at the scene, discovering a teenage boy threatening to jump at a derelict property, opposite Wynsors Crewe.
After engaging with the boy for around an hour, he came down from the roof and was taken home.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 8.30pm on Monday 22 June, police were called to reports of a teenager on the roof of a disused building on Queen Street, Crewe.
"Police, fire and ambulance attended and officers engaged with the boy who came down from the roof at around 9.30pm and was taken home."
