Emergency services called to welfare incident close to Crewe town centre

Emergency services were called to a welfare incident close to Crewe town centre, with a man being supported by paramedics.
On Friday 13 June, North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Police received reports of concerns for the welfare of a man on West Street, sat on a wall by Crewe UTC.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, with an ambulance stopping close to The Market Shopping Centre traffic lights, temporarily blocking traffic travelling towards Vernon Way.

Two Cheshire Police vehicles pulled up on West Street to support paramedics. The man was taken into an ambulance.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 3.15pm on Friday 13 June, we were called to concerns for the welfare of a man in West Street, Crewe."
