Driver taken to hospital following two-vehicle collision in Crewe

The driver of a vehicle has been taken to hospital in Crewe - following a serious two-vehicle collision in the West End.

Cheshire Police officers and North West Ambulance Service paramedics rushed to the scene.

Emergency services discovered a grey Ford Fiesta and Blue Audi had collided with one another.

West Street was blocked while recovery of the vehicles took place.

Shortly after the collision, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: :Officers were called to West Street, Crewe, at around 10.25am on Wednesday (January 18), following reports of a collision involving a grey Ford Fiesta and a blue Audi.

"It is not clear if there were any injuries.

Emergency services discovered a grey Ford Fiesta and Blue Audi had collided with one another (Crewe Police).

"The road was blocked while recovery took place."
