Driver and passenger taken to hospital with injuries following serious collision in Crewe
A driver and passenger from a van have been taken to hospital with injuries - following a serious two-vehicle collision in Crewe.
The incident on Selworthy Drive, happened at 2:30pm on Wednesday 21 June - with emergency services rushing to the scene.
On arrival, Cheshire Police officers discovered a white transit van and a grey Vauxhall Corsa had collided with one another.
The driver and passenger from the van "both sustained injuries" from the incident - taken to Leighton Hospital by North West Ambulance Service paramedics.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Selworthy Drive was blocked while the collision incident was dealt with. The road was cleared around 3:20pm.
On Friday 23 June, Cheshire Police confirmed the incident to Nub News.
A spokesperson said: "At 2.30pm on Wednesday 21 June police were called to a collision on Selworthy Drive, Crewe.
"Officers attended and found the collision involved two vehicles, a white transit van and a grey Vauxhall Corsa .
"The driver and the passenger from the van both sustained injuries as a result of the collision, they were both taken to hospital by paramedics.
"Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"The road was cleared at around 3.20pm."
