Dad and daughter duo set to open new Crewe seafood takeaway
By Ryan Parker 1st Apr 2026
Crewe's first dedicated seafood takeaway launches in Crewe on Good Friday, run by a local dad and daughter duo.
Seafood House, 161 Edleston Road, will open at 4pm on Friday 3 April, following almost one year of preparations.
Operated by Paul and Laura from Crewe, Seafood House serves the likes of garlic butter prawns, pan-fried mussels, shrimp burger, grilled octopus, fried anchovies and its signature seafood boil bag.
Available for collection and delivery, Seafood House offers a variety of family/sharing deals, along with side dishes and drinks.
Seafood House takes on the former Efe's takeaway on Edleston Road, a building dating back to 1881.

Joint-owner of Seafood House, Laura Badea, told Nub News: "We are finally opening on Friday 3 April (Good Friday) at 4pm.
"We're excited to welcome you to our new seafood takeaway.
"Customers can enjoy freshly prepared dishes, made with passion and love for food.
"Find us at 161 Edeston Road, Crewe, CW2 7HR. Come and taste the difference."
Seafood House is open 4pm to 11pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
