Crewe woman to appear in court after 'threatening' staff at town centre venue

A Crewe woman is set to appear in court later this month, after being charged with the use of "threatening and abusive language" towards pub staff.
Stephanie Brookshaw, 40, of Edleston Road, will appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 31 August.
This follows an incident on Sunday 13 August, when Cheshire Police officers were called to reports of a a woman threatening staff at Albert's Corner, Prince Albert Street.
At 12:40am, officers arrived at the scene, arresting the 40-year-old woman on suspicion of public order offences.
Brookshaw has since been charged with the use of threatening and abusive language and bailed to appear at Crewe court.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 12.40am on Sunday 13 August, police were called to reports of a person threatening staff at a public house on Prince Albert Street.
"Officers attended the scene and arrested a 40-year-old woman on suspicion of public order offences.
"Stephanie Brookshaw, of Edleston Road, has since been charged with use of threatening and abusive language.
"She had been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Thursday 31 August.
