A Crewe woman has been disqualified from driving until 2027, after crashing into three parked vehicles while over the drink-drive limit in November.

Cheshire Police were called to Badger Avenue, near the junction with Underwood Lane on the evening of Tuesday 11 November after reports a black SUV had struck a number of stationary cars at speed, leaving it tilted on its side.

The parked vehicles were badly damaged, with driver, Rachel Howell, 41, of Wheelman Road, arrested at the scene after providing a breath test over the legal limit.

Crewe Magistrates' Court banned Rachel Howell from driving for 22 months, with the disqualification backdated to 12 November 2025 (Photo: Nub News).

Howell appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court the following day, where she pleaded guilty to the offence. She was later sentenced at Crewe Magistrates' Court on Monday 15 December.

The court banned Howell from driving for 22 months, with the disqualification backdated to 12 November 2025.

The ban can be reduced by 22 weeks if she completes an approved drink-driving rehabilitation course by February 2027. The cost of the course will not exceed £250.

Howell was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £114 victim surcharge.

She must also comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement, which includes attending appointments or taking part in activities as directed by probation officers for up to 10 days.

The conviction will be endorsed on her driving record.
