A Crewe town centre craft beer bar has "regrettably" announced its permanent closure - after more than two years of trading.

Craft Beer Oasis, High Street, closed its doors for the final time this June - with a "number of factors" contributing to it.

The venue, operated by Alan Hinde, who previously operated The Borough Arms, Earle Street, took over the former BeerDock Tap 40 unit in April 2021.

On Saturday 24 June, Craft Beer Oasis announced its closure with a short social media statement (Ryan Parker).

Craft Beer Oasis offered a wide range of beer from across the UK and beyond - including the likes of Belgium, Czech Republic and Germany.

The bar also served bottled beer, gins and other spirits.

On Saturday 24 June, Craft Beer Oasis announced its closure with a short social media statement.

It read: "We are now closed regrettably. A number of factors contribute to this.

"I would like to thank all my loyal customers and hope this venue goes on to better things."

The idea of Craft Beer Oasis stemmed from Mr Hinde's previous venture whilst in Cornwall - under the Coastal Brewery brand name.

Regular customer, Jen Ogle, paid tribute to the craft beer bar on social media.

She said: "Devastating news. I will miss you very much.
