Ruskin Community High School, Crewe, is working through a number of projects to improve the teaching and learning environment - aiming to benefit all our students, staff and wider community.

Over the last couple of years, Ruskin has made improvements to install up-to-date teaching technological resources to improve the learning environment.

Another one of our smaller projects is the installation of 'The Pod.'

This outdoor food service point supports the school in moving back to one lunch time and break from September 2023.

The design and name were chosen by the school's students - with Ruskin hopeful it will be a popular addition.

Headteacher, Dean Postlethwaite, told Nub News: 'We are all delighted that we have been able to further enhance provision for our students next year.

"The learning environment is really important for our students so that they have outstanding provision in first class facilities.

"The classroom build will enable this and we look forward to opening them very soon."

Ruskin will be hosting an Open Evening on Monday 25 September - showing all attendees the new facilities.
