A Crewe town centre Middle Eastern restaurant has been shortlisted as a finalist of the British Kebab Awards 2026, recognising the very best in the UK's kebab industry.

Kurdish Restaurant, located on the corner of Market Street and Chester Street, has been recognised in the 'Best Delivery Service' category.

The Awards invite the public to vote for their favourite establishments across the country, giving customers the chance to support and celebrate outstanding businesses in their local community.

The Awards provide a platform to honour the excellence, innovation, and contribution of restaurants and takeaways to the UK's economy, culture, and rich culinary landscape.

Each year, the British Kebab Awards highlight the dedication of hardworking staff, celebrate diversity in cuisine, and showcase the importance of local businesses to communities across the nation.

The Awards are now open to a public vote, which residents can participate in until Saturday 24 January 2026.

The 14th British Kebab Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday 24 February 2026, from 5pm to 11pm at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

Regular customer, Connor Naismith MP, told Nub News: "I am delighted Kurdish Restaurant has reached the finals of the British Kebab Awards 2026 for best delivery.

"Their progress in the competition demonstrates their outstanding service and reflects the quality, diversity, and hard work that define our local businesses in Crewe and Nantwich.

"I encourage everyone to show their support for a local independent business and take a few seconds to vote for The Kurdish Restaurant and get them to first place."
