Car overturns and crashes into utility pole in Crewe incident

Emergency services were called after a car overturned and crashed into a utility pole near Crewe, with the a major road closing until recovery took place.
On Tuesday 16 December, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, Cheshire Police and North West Ambulance Service were alerted to an incident on Main Road, Weston.
At 5.48pm, a gold Fiat 500 lost control on the South Cheshire road, overturning and crashing into a telegraph pole.
The driver had scrambled out of the vehicle before emergency services arrived. He was subsequently assessed by Crewe firefighters and handed over into the care of paramedics.
No arrests were made in the incident, with Main Road closed by police until the crashed Fiat 500 was recovered.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters attended a single-vehicle collision on Main Road, Weston, involving a car that had struck a telegraph pole and overturned.
"The driver had got out of the vehicle before crews arrived and was assessed by firefighters before being handed over to paramedics.
"The vehicle was made safe by firefighters.
"Police were also in attendance to assist with managing traffic and arranging recovery.
"The incident was handed over to the police once the scene was safe."
Crewe Nub News had contacted Cheshire Police for comment.
