A Crewe residential development left unfinished for six years has been purchased for a sum - just under £500,000 at auction.
The site on the corner of Heathfield Avenue and Hightown was sold for £475,000 by Crewe Butters John Bee on Monday (November 21).
This figure was decided by action at the Double Tree By Hilton Hotel, Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent.
The Crewe central site was up for a guide price of £450,000 - formed of five residential apartments.
After years in limbo, the development has finally been sold.
In 2015, R.G Harris Limited applied to construct nine houses and five apartments at the Heathfield Avenue and Hightown site.
Plans also included associated parking and access provision.
Following amendments, this residential development was finally approved in December 2016.
Construction began in 2017 but the site was left unfinished.
This year, windows and doors were fitted to the apartments and it was listed for auction.
Inside, the five apartments are fitted with contemporary kitchens and bathrooms.
