Crewe resident urgently appeals for help following burglary at their home

A Crewe resident has urgently appealed to the public for help - following a burglary at their home over the weekend.

The incident at 2 Charlcote Crescent happened on Sunday (October 16) - at approximately 8:15pm.

Burglars entered the Crewe resident's home while they were out - stealing items of jewellery.

Based on CCTV footage from the neighbours - the Crewe resident thinks the burglary happened at around 8.15pm (Cheshire Constabulary).

Yesterday (October 18), the Crewe resident contacted Nub News for help, saying: "Based on CCTV footage from the neighbours we think it happened at around 8.15pm.

"We returned to the house at 10pm and the thieves had left by then."

Today (October 19), Cheshire Police have confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Wistaston.

"At around 8.15pm on Sunday 16 October thieves broke into an address in Charlcote Crescent and stole jewellery.

Cheshire Police and forensics are involved with the Crewe burglary incident (Cheshire Constabulary).

"Police are checking CCTV, gathering forensic evidence and making house to house enquiries.

"Local officers have also been in the area giving crime prevention advice to residents.

DC Laura Hall said: "We've been making a number of enquiries in the area and would appeal to anyone with information to contact us.

"This could be CCTV, doorbell footage, dashcam footage, or information about anyone acting suspiciously in the area"

2 Charlcote Crescent is the corner house at the Broadleigh Way/Charlcote Crescent intersection.
