Police appeal for information after three devices stolen in Crewe phone shop raid

Cheshire Police are appealing for information after three smartphones were stolen from a Crewe phone shop - located within the town centre.

The incident happened at approximately 2pm inside Crewe Vodafone, Market Street, on Sunday (November 27)

A Crewe Nub News tip-off immediately after the raid led to us contacting Cheshire Police for comment.

The incident happened at approximately 2pm inside Crewe Vodafone, Market Street, on Sunday - November 27 (Cheshire Constabulary).

A spokesperson told Nub News: "Shortly after 2pm on Sunday (November 28), police were called to reports of shoplifting at a phone shop on Market Street, Crewe."

"The caller reported that two unknown men had entered the store and removed three mobile phones from a display stand. 

"The pair were challenged by staff but refused to return the phones and fled the store on foot, walking towards Market Hall. 

"Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police at this link IML 1422694."

The incident happened on Market Street - close to Crewe town centre's Christmas tree (Ryan Parker).

No injuries were reported during the raid.

The witness said the two thieves ran towards Asda following the raid.
