Edleston Road Car Park in Crewe will be closed for one day next week to allow for essential maintenance works to take place.

The car park will be closed on Wednesday 7 December to allow line markings to be completed.

The council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. The site is expected to reopen on Friday morning.

Details of other car parks in Crewe can be found here: Car Parks in Crewe South Cheshire.

The car park is also set to be spruced up in 2023, as the council recently won a government grant for electric car chargers to be installed there.

The news comes just days after Cheshire East Council announced that car parking in the borough would be under review.

This was after after the financial review of this current year revealed a projected reduction of £1.3m in parking income.
