Crewe pizza chain applies to serve food until 3am on weekends

A popular Crewe pizza chain has applied to serve food until 3am at weekends and 1am throughout the week.

On Thursday 21 September, Mumtaz Hussain, on behalf of Caprino's Pizza, Nantwich Road, submitted a premises license application to Cheshire East Council.

The growing pizza chain, which opened in Crewe in 2019, has applied to serve late night refreshments from 11am until 3am (Friday and Saturday).

Caprino's has grown rapidly over the past five years, now having over 90 stores and rising (Caprino's Pizza Crewe).

It has also applied to serve the late night refreshments from 11am until 1am (Sunday to Thursday).

The licensing application is on display at the Nantwich Road unit, adjacent to Ebenezer's bar and new to an approved 24-hour adult gaming centre.

Currently, Caprino's is open 11am until 11pm (Sunday to Thursday) and 11am until 12pm (Friday and Saturday), wanting to extend these times by two hours.

As a well as a variety of pizzas, Caprino's serves sides such as garlic bread, hot chicken wings, wraps, chicken strips, potato wedges and mozzarella sticks.

The pizza chain has grown rapidly over the past five years, now having over 90 stores and rising.

Representations to Caprino's application shall be made in writing to Cheshire East Council Licensing Section on or before Friday 20 October.

The licensing application is on display at the Nantwich Road unit, adjacent to Ebenezer's bar and an approved 24-hour adult gaming centre (Ryan Parker).
