Improvement works at three Crewe parks are moving forward, with new facilities and upgrades taking shape at Pebble Brook Park, Westminster Park and Valley Brook Park.

At Pebble Brook Park, new basketball court line markings have now been completed in the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA), while information signage has been installed.

Contractors are also preparing new pathways ahead of further works, which will pave the way for new play equipment and safety surfacing to be installed.

Further improvements are also under way at Westminster Park and Valley Brook Park, with both schemes being delivered through UK Government Towns Funding.

Once complete, the projects are expected to deliver upgraded, accessible and modern outdoor spaces for families and residents across the town.

A Crewe Town Council spokesperson said: "Work is continuing to enhance local play areas and green spaces across Crewe, with good progress being made at Pebble Brook Park, Westminster Park and Valley Brook Park."
