New information has revealed Crewe motorists have paid Cheshire East Council over £8 million in car parking fees - across the past decade.
A FOI request from political party, Putting Crewe First, was submitted to the council in December.
Cheshire East Council gave a swift response - confirming it receives over £4 million a year in parking fees across the borough.
The highest grossing town across the past decade was Macclesfield - with Crewe in second.
Figures showed the councils income in parking fees from 2012-13 to 2021-22.
In 2012-13, Cheshire East Council received approximately £1.19 million from Crewe car park charges.
This figure almost halved in 2021-22, receiving approximately £601,000 from the town's car parking fees.
Putting Crewe First slammed Cheshire East Council's car parking fees for Crewe motorists.
A statement read: "This rip off of Crewe's motorists has gone on for over 13 years whilst, amazingly, nine towns in Cheshire East don't pay a penny in parking charges.
"This gross unfairness has gone on since the Council was formed in 2009. It doesn't matter if Cheshire East is run by Tories or Labour, these double standards on parking fees have continued.
The nine Cheshire East towns with free car parking are Sandbach, Middlewich, Alsager, Handforth, Prestbury, Poynton, Bollington, Disley and Holmes Chapel.
Putting Crewe First has called for Crewe Town Council to take over the town's car parks.
The statement added: "If Crewe Town Council ran the car parks they could then decide to abolish the car parking charges.
"Crewe would be on a level playing field with the nine towns in Cheshire East that charge nothing for car parking.
"Such a move would be a big boost to the ailing Crewe town centre.
"Labour run Cheshire East need to stop using Crewe's motorists as a milch cow to pay for their wasteful spending."
Cheshire East Council's fall in income received from Crewe car parks across the past decade correlates with the town centre's decrease in footfall.
