Crewe medical centre submits expansion plans with more consultation rooms

A medical centre in the West End of Crewe has put forward new expansion plans, in response to increased patient demand and a growing population.
Applicant, Mrs Rachel Patrick, of Grosvenor Medical Centre, Grosvenor Street, has proposed a first floor extension to form two new administration offices and a telephone consulting room.
Two new consulting rooms have also been proposed, alongside a new reception space at ground floor within the existing building.
These plans would bring the total number of consultation rooms to 12, with a 33-seater waiting room on the ground floor.

This floor would also consist of a reception, phlebotomy, treatments and minor operations room, practise nurses room, lobby, office, staff toilets, kitchen and storage, along with patient male, female and disabled toilets.
Currently accepting new patients, Grosvenor Medical Centre is open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. You can contact the reception on 01270 256340.
The last date for submitting comments on the application is Tuesday 24 June, with a target decision date of Tuesday 1 July.
