Crewe man jailed following theft from West End shop

A Crewe man has been sentenced to four weeks imprisonment and issued with a Benefits Deduction Order, after pleading guilty to theft from a shop in the town.
Christopher Michael Davies, 39, appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 2 April.
Davies' sentencing came after he was charged for the theft from a convenience store on Underwood Lane.
The Crewe man was arrested by Cheshire Police officers on the afternoon of Sunday 31 March for the offence.
As well as the jail sentence and benefits deduction, Chester Magistrates' ordered Davies to pay £25 compensation, £120 costs and £154 victim surcharge.
